This is a real neat looking template
with subtle colors and an all around good look, easy to set up and customize and if you are looking for something neat and low color this one just would fit your blog. This blog looks different because the sidebars go up higher, comes with an image above your blog posts.
I am using a different header photo than the original that comes with this, there are many things you can do with this template, the subscribe button I edited using Gimp, I added a twit this link also. There are so many nice templates out there anymore it is hard to choose which one will suit your tastes, this one belongs up toward the top of the list. I added the orginal photo that comes with this template so you can see how it looks, this is one of my all time favorites here.
Basically they are seeing maybe a way to make a buck off this, but when you dive into this avenue you have to think or at least contemplate that why would some people need their cable boxes? I don't see any reason they would and just what the article states itself don't get to comfortable thinking well I subscribe to Comcast I can also watch programming on the internet also, wrong, according to the CNN article T.V Everywhere could pose a threat to the popular Hulu model, well this very well could be right you never know one thing is for sure, you won't find me there. Look out folks price increase on the way.

This is a clean template called concept nova, you can edit the title and sub-title just as I did with this one, very neat template. As my loyal visitors know I put a lot of the simple and clean ones up and this is no exception..

I added a little extra to this one also and that is I added the twit this link to it and it is really kind of simple to do you just have to add a bit of code to the template and then your visitors can twit your post as well, expand widgets and look for this code;
<a expr:href='data:label.url' rel='tag'><data:label.name/></a><b:if cond='data:label.isLast != "true">,</b:if>
and directly under this paste in this code;
<a expr:href='http://twitthis.com/twit?url= + data:post.url + &title= + data:post.title'>Twit This!</a></div>
And now I will file this neat template into the favorite column, give this one a try you won't be sorry for doing so, cheers.
This girl is now in college but I hope she sues the school for all it's worth and judge Thomas in his dissent well that is another story in other words he comes to the conclusion that probably the prescription drugs (ibuprofen) were secretly hid by the girl somewhere else. All of this occurred over what amounts to a couple of Advil, the girl was stripped searched by the school apparently because of an anonymous tip. In an 8-1 ruling, the justices said school officials violated the law with their search of Savana Redding in the rural eastern Arizona town of Safford.
The lower courts will have to decide whether the school can be held liable or not but hopefully they can read the whole of this story at the link;

This template is another unique one, I got it over at Deluxe Templates. Very easy to set up and a real different looking template, I like the wood and the nature green look of this template and it works just flawless for me I have found no problems at all installing this template.
download this one at Deluxe Templates.
In this template look for this code;
<b:if cond='data:post.embedCommentForm'> <b:include data='post' name='comment-form'/> <b:else/> <b:if cond='data:post.allowComments'> <h3><a expr:href='data:post.addCommentUrl' expr:onclick='data:post.addCommentOnclick'><
I found a piece of code in my page make-up that was breaking IE-8, it is a piece of code I used to frame my blog scream widget, every time I went to leave a comment or went to the comment page IE-8 would break I knew the follower widget was doing it but got me to thinking after removing that what else could it be?
After removing the piece of code that frames my blog scream widget so far I have not gotten an error, knock on wood I mean everything is subject to change right? But as of now it is working o.k and goes to the comment page without the mission aborted and crash of IE-8. Here is the code I remove;
margin:0 0 0 0;
border-top:1px solid #666; border-right:1px solid#666; border-bottom:2px solid
#999; border-left:2px solid #999;
Just thought I would mention it, in case it might help someone having trouble with the Internet Explorer and this dreaded operation aborted,,lol..cheers.
Update; It started doing it again never mind,,lol.
I like this Firefox add-on, it is called Feedly and it is built on top of Google Reader and to me it is one great idea. Here is a link that shows how you can optimize feedly to your own tastes;
If you want to give feedly a shot to see just how you like it here is the link;

I have been asked in comments to other articles, but also in person, whether it is possible to restore Firefox default settings: if you have tweaked your about:config page to speed your browser up, or simply installed an add-on that messed up your configuration, Firefox 3 has a simple method to restore all default settings back without uninstalling the software.

On average I see her almost on a daily basis, because for a number one reason being one has to watch them a little closely at the nursing home uh, not to throw off on all nursing homes but they do vary from one to another I guess after an initial disagreement the nursing home seems to be more or less doing it's job and Mom seems to be doing as well as expected there. She seemed to enjoy the little party put on for her by me and my girlfriend and was in a festive and enjoyable mood and sometimes her mood anymore is one way one minute and another the next, but I was really glad that this time it was almost consistent.
I am glad that I have learned some time ago not to take anything for granted and while our parents are with us help and do for them what we can, because they have done so much for us and I know from losing my Father that when they are gone it leaves a mighty big space in one's heart and I was real glad to see her enjoying herself and in a good mood it really made her happy, even though, she had told me a few days prior not to do anything for her birthday. So if any reading this have an elderly parent or grand-parent do something on those days whether it be a birthday or other, you won't regret it.

This seems to be a promising adventure but to be able to actually do it seems another matter entirely, reading this article from clean technica about the high altitude winds but getting those and being able to make this work could be problematic but I would hope they keep trying and maybe come up with some workable plan, it could benefit the environment and go a long way in making us a more cleaner and efficient world.
You’ve heard of commercial wind turbines in farm fields, offshore turbines on the water, even small wind turbines on the rooftops of homes, but high-altitude winds are also being studied as a potential energy source.
The first-ever study of high-altitude winds by the Carnegie Institution and California State University says winds in the jet stream, about 30,000 feet up, would be the ideal source to exploit. And the sky over New York is a prime spot, along with population centers in the eastern United States and East Asia.
This is an awesome looking template called blue diamond, comes with 27 images that you upload and host yourself and this takes a little longer to set up but it is worth the effort.
Comes with a featured content or featured post at the top and at this time I have not got it set up but the directions are pretty straight forward, I will try and get time so you can see how this works, you see it in this photo of how it would look.
Kind of a neat feature if you have a special post you want to keep on your main page at all times and it appears at the top of the page also where your readers would have good access to it.
So if you are looking for something a little different and sharp looking at that then blue diamond just might foot your bill, this one goes in the fav column, even though the read more link is inserted into every post I still like this one a lot and the link can be removed easy enough but on the other hand it will take you to the comment page if you have the comments embeded below post so I guess that is easy access also, enjoy.; (tested in Firefox and Internet Explorer-8)

This theme is different and unique, it is called puppet from deluxe templates, I like this one because the color is nice and easy on the eyes and because it is different. It is different than the other themes I have tried out lately and I put this one in the fav category for sure, check this one out you can't go wrong with it.
Set-up is pretty easy, it has the contact and home buttons and the about and FAQ buttons arranged in a very unique manner, I have not got the contact button set up right yet but it is probably something on my end causing this, very unique and different blog template.

A dog walker has spoken of the horror of witnessing three youths stamp a new born deer to death in a park in Dorset.
Keith Arthurs was walking his dog in Upton Country Park, near Poole, when he saw three teenage boys wearing hoods attack the fawn on Wednesday night.
He did not intervene for fear of being injured. The RSPCA collected the body and took it to Lynwood Vets in Wareham.
Police are appealing for the public's help in finding the boys. Mr Arthurs said: "I was disgusted and horrified."
He added: "One of them hit the fawn across his head.
"Then they dropped it on the floor and they all took turns stamping on it.
Every time I read something like this it just disgusts me, I don't know these people but it would seem to me that maybe their parents should have given them a little more decepline than this and it goes to show just how much they would do to a human being and I don't blame the wittness for not confronting them I mean people like this would not have cared to give him the same treatment, watch the video after the jump;
Yes you read that title right a retired principal was caught in a child sex sting by police, he allegedly showed up at a Morristown Tn. motel for what he believed to be a sexual encounter with an 8 year old girl, Joseph Wayne Jennings was arraigned Thursday by U.S. Magistrate Dennis Inman on a four-count criminal complaint.
According to the complaint drafted by assistant U.S. Attorney Helen Smith, Jennings retired in 2007 from the Claiborne County schools district where he worked as a principal at the Clairfield Elementary School.
Apparently where this all started from was a chat session Jennings was having with an Ohio woman in May and she became alarmed when Jennings began telling her about alleged sexual encounters with young girls, the woman wrote a complaint to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The agency then determined the screen name belonged to Jennings and detective Tom Evans of the Knoxville Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, took on the persona of a divorced mother with an 8-year-old daughter and apparently when Evans started chatting with Jennings on-line he immediately made inquiry about having sex with the 8-year-old phantom girl.
The complaint alleged also that Jennings brought a video camera and digital camera with him when he appeared at the motel, jennings was arrested Wednesday at the Holiday Inn in Morristown and ordered held without bond pending a Tuesday hearing.
What is even more disturbing about this article was that this individual was a Principal at an elementary school, it is scaring knowing how many children he had the opportunity to come into contact with. If this man is found guilty the full extent of the law needs dealt to him and I believe that our laws need to be more tougher on these types of crimes, the more tougher the better and this is why as liberal as I am I kind of hold to the death penalty in certain circumstances and at any rate if found guilty this guy should be in prison till the end of his days.

This is a new template called Inove and it joins my list of favorite templates, because of the color and I like the design also simple clean and easy on the eyes the navigation feature at the top I like also and the color combo is great very easy on the eyes. Just had to try this one when I saw it go over and try it yourself like Linux Mandriva, easy to try and easy to keep. Another neat little feature of this one is the link at the bottom where it will take you back to the top of the blog with one click, can't go wrong with this one.

Reading this gives me hope, hope that maybe the environment can recover quite quickly but sad in a way knowing that we must do our part to help it. Sad because it is so hard to get folks to concentrate on the environment and do just a little goes a long way and that every little bit counts though some effort is required on our part to make it happen and not only us but the planet as a whole must participate and that is a chore in itself;
When it comes to environmental news, doom and gloom often rules the day. And it’s easy to get discouraged. But scientists from Yale University say most polluted ecosystems can recover in as little as 5 or 10 years.The study means it’s not too late to turn things around if societies commit to cleanup, restoration and sustainability, according to Yale’s analysis of 240 independent studies. The findings appear in this month’s issue of the peer-reviewed journal PLoS ONE.
This looks very good, just started testing Linux Mandriva on this machine and it is working like a charm. Not having the usual trouble with flash like I did with Debian, with it I had to do some searching to get it to work, but then again it was the 64bit so that might have had something to do with it.
I took this screenshot with the Gimp of course scaled down quite a bit from the original the desktop theme is glassified and it is one of the best looking themes I think, but there are many to choose from.

I might have found what is causing the mission aborted statement at least on my blog it is the followers widget, when I took it off the blog then IE loaded without crashing, but I kind of like the widget and Firefox has no problems so lets let it ride shall we.
I tested it three times and every time I added the widget IE-8 just goes to hell on it so that is what is doing it on my blog and now the question is why don't someone fix it? It does not happen in Firefox only in IE, well just touching base on why the page is locking up and shutting down in IE, if it does check the follower widget.
btemplates never disappoint me on their great templates and this one rocks also,clean crisp and an all around great looking template to have on your blog.
This one has a little more to it than some do as far as the links and design of it as a whole, it has the normal links across the top and a added bonus of the description of your blog if you want to add that,plus in the bottom right of the header are two more links you can adjust as you need to.
So all and all it is one neat one and will add it to the favorite column, this is another one you can't go wrong with. I messed with it a little took out a link and added the share button, look for this code;
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "item"'>
<a class='comment-link' expr:href='data:post.addCommentUrl' expr:onclick='data:post.addCommentOnclick'><b:if cond='data:post.numComments == 1'>1 <data:top.commentLabel/><b:else/><data:post.numComments/> <data:top.commentLabelPlural/></b:if></a>
directly under this add this code;
<!-- AddThis Button BEGIN -->
<div><a expr:id='data:post.url' expr:name='data:post.title' onclick='return addthis_sendto()' onmouseout='addthis_close()' onmouseover='return addthis_open(this, "", this.id, this.name);'><img alt='Bookmark and Share' height='16' src='http://s7.addthis.com/static/btn/lg-share-en.gif' style='border:0' width='125'/></a>
<!-- AddThis Button END -->
First of all I have been using IE-8 for a probably 4 months off and on and this started happening right out of the blue on me, and as of yet I can't make it stop doing this. I thought the mission aborted thing was taken care of months ago? I have no problems in Firefox also it works most of the time using IE-7 but this window occurs all the time using IE-8. It may be something on my end I don't know I am using Kapersky security on my machine that could have something to do with it I don't know, I hate to try and operate a page where all browsers can not see it but this is what I am doing, always some problem with IE. I thought my blog was about the only one involved, but gran's blog did it also and she has a normal blogspot blog, my friend gran also has the widget called linkwithin which is a simple add-on that will show related posts to your blog posts. Pretty neat gadget and very easy to install.
How is this for a color combo? And it comes ready to put in your twitter address at the top just insert your address and you are ready to go, I call this one twitter ready and down to earth.
Great color combo on this one I will keep it for a while, enjoy this nice template not to mention this one is brand new get your own at the link;
This is a clean and refreshing template that breaks the norm quite well, easy to set up and get going pretty good. The color combo is easy on the eyes with this template and you can replace the ads with your own at the top of the sidebar, I had kind of a hard time removing these and have not been able yet to remove them entirely, so I deleted one and replaced one with firefox. This page with this template is best viewed with firefox I had some issues with IE.
