This girl is now in college but I hope she sues the school for all it's worth and judge Thomas in his dissent well that is another story in other words he comes to the conclusion that probably the prescription drugs (ibuprofen) were secretly hid by the girl somewhere else. All of this occurred over what amounts to a couple of Advil, the girl was stripped searched by the school apparently because of an anonymous tip. In an 8-1 ruling, the justices said school officials violated the law with their search of Savana Redding in the rural eastern Arizona town of Safford.

The lower courts will have to decide whether the school can be held liable or not but hopefully they can read the whole of this story at the link;

    I heard this on NPR the other day. I hope she sues also.

    Yep, when you read all the details it is pretty clear cut on this one. I don't think she can sue but hopefully the lower courts might allow it.
