pay isn’t discrimination on the job – it’s because they need more
education and training. That’s just totally wrong… John McCain just has

for all kinds of problems.” But I can’t think of any problem more
important than making sure that women get equal pay for equal work.

In H.R. 2831 purports to undo the Supreme Court's decision of May 29,2007 in Ledbetter v. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.,by permitting "pay discrimination claims" to be brought within 180 days of receiving any paycheck affected by such a decision,,basically no matter how far in the past the discrimination occurred. It would extend the statue of limitations to any 'other practice' that remotely affects an individuals wages,benefits,or other compensation in the future.
