Back-up and share and access your files from anywhere, anytime with Syncplicity. Syncplicity is still in beta form but after 28 Jul 2008 it will end and free accounts will be allowed 2GB more will cost $99 a year. This sounds good to share photos or some documents you have and not having to e-mail them is a good thing.

You can install it on one computer or on addtional computers,,pick and choose which files to back-up,,keep computers in sync; Multiple Computers, One View: Keep all of your
computers in sync. With Syncplicity, it doesn’t matter which machine
you use. Writing a letter at home on your desktop, but need to run? No
problem! Just save the file like you normally would, grab your laptop
and go. Your letter will be on your laptop, ready and waiting.

Sharing made Simple: Share any folder with anyone with
a simple click of the mouse. Because your files are already in
Syncplicity, others get access right away. And if they choose to use
the Syncplicity client, the files simply show up on their computers.

Secure: Syncplicity transfers all your data using
128-bit SSL, the same encryption used for online banking. On the
backend, your files are stored encrypted using AES, military grade
encryption. Only you can access your files.

On the subject of file backup, sharing and storage ...

Online backup is becoming common these days. It is estimated that 70-75% of all PC's will be connected to online backup services with in the next decade.

Thousands of online backup companies exist, from one guy operating in his apartment to fortune 500 companies.

Choosing the best online backup company will be very confusing and difficult. One website I find very helpful in making a decision to pick an online backup company is:

    http://www.BackupReview.info

This site lists more than 400 online backup companies in its directory and ranks the top 25 on a monthly basis.

Hello amharican thanks for dropping by and adding some in-put on this,it does make it a lot easier to share information when using one of these systems.

I will check out the link you left and read a little,,I do quite a bit of genealogy anymore and sites like these help share information that I need to share with individuals.

The possibilities are endless on these back-up and share sites, some offer different criteria than others. Thanks for the in-put my friend and do not be a stranger,,do come back.
