Another self righteous hypocrite

Well we all knew this was coming, the D.C madam is basically singing like a bird after making lots of money off her business of keeping those cold Washington nights warm. Apparently this Senator from Louisiana is coming clean with his repentance and offers responsibility for his actions, which would still be a mystery to us had not the madam been busted. After acknowledging the sin, wait did I say sin? I am so sick and tired of these guys always coming with this after they are busted, they should have been talking with God when the temptation occurred and this is most prevalent on the Republican side more so than the Democratic, in quick view they have to take this stance due to the religious right and I ask you now do you believe the religious believe this? I don't think they do, and still in denial, if you read any of these confessions you read on down the whole article and nine times out of ten they never take any responsibility for their actions this guy apparently got a massage but not sex, heck, everyone on the list could make this claim and since when did getting a massage commit a sin? Is getting a massage a serious sin? If the religious right were listening and reading all this they would do good to vote all these self righteous hypocrites out and start fresh. And whether it be a Democrat or Republican when you confess to a sin make sure it is a sin and not just another massage.

  1. This guy has so much morals that he raves about them, now for him to be on this list.

Why is it that the people that rave the most about morals or the ones with less than anyone else?

That is a good question let's talk, the reason this always ticks me off is they try to explain something away and confess their sins and in the end of these articles we come to find he only admits to a massage and I do not believe that to be a sin? I don't know I am just speaking as a Baptist/Pentecostal, but I would not consider it a sin. Generally when you here of these touting morals they generally have something to hide, I would have respected this guy more if he would not have brought up the 'sin' word, in good faith you would not associate sin with a massage, you see these types interject God into what they are doing to try and connect with their voter base. Jimmy Swaggart, Ted Haggard and others have done the same thing, I even seen Ted on the biography channel or one of those channels? And on CNN in denial before God and man, before the big news break came, God should be in your life on a daily basis and not used liked a crutch when you mess up.

Hey Floyd. I've deleted my blog and email, plus Twitter, due to a problem with a old "friend." I'll be keeping tabs on your blog and commenting.

  1. I hear that his wife stated that she was not like Mrs. Clinton. She said that she would give him a Vitter vasectomy, yes cut it off if he ever did what Clinton did.

He and his wife seems to be something else.

But after I got it where they had to post a name they stopped, it might work for you just let them post and mow 'em down like grass, have a good one and stay in touch.

Hey Floyd! You got this Blog looking great! I just was here yesterday (I think) and now today it looks like this, I thought I was on the wrong Blog. Really nice work you;ve done.

  1. Carol says:

oops@ I forgot to comment on the Post..I am so sick and tired of the rampant hypocrisy coming from all corners of the world lately. I know that it's nothing new but it is really p**ssing me off! This is just another example of the really terrible shape we are in, morally speaking.

  1. Floyd says:

Hey Carol thanks for coming by my friend, I am just messing with it a little, I still have much to learn. You got it right on the hypocrisy part, that is what ticks me they need to take responsibility for their actions. And, if they go to the trouble to confess don't come with some drawn out process that when you get to the end of the article the Senator in question admits to a massage and then relates that to a sin, what he is trying to confess to turns out to be a cop-out, and I think by reading some of these articles they believe that us who believe in God must be idiots? I don't know maybe it is just the way I'm reading it but, that is my two cents.

  1. Jim says:

Speaking of hypocrisy, Floyd, I'm sure you saw that the Republicans obstructed Webb's amendment to insure a little more reasonable rest for our soldiers (between endless deployments). These are supposed to be the guys watching out for our troops !

I watched the NBC Nightly news last night to see how they portrayed this lack of a vote, but NBC's Brian Williams didn't mention it at all. Yet we still are supposed to believe that all media is so liberal...

It certainly gets depressing sometimes, with one outrage following another. I suppose you've noticed that I haven't posted in a long time on my site. Perhaps with the election heating up, I'll get some encouragement. Right now I feel that eighteen more months of Bush is going to be hard to stomach.

  1. Floyd says:

Thank the good Lord it is only 18 months to go, I saw the Webb amendment that would give our troops some added time off to be with their families. These are the votes they always sweep under the rug Jim, they want to keep America in the dark on all that is going on in Washington and really I believe that only ones with access to the web are getting the full picture. You will get back in the swing of things with your posts, I have been pretty busy myself lately I am probably going radical on my blog changes I just hate to lose all my work it would take a long time for me to get back everything I have on here. Thanks for coming by I browse a lot, sometimes when you update make sure you update Technorati, I saw it say you had not posted in months, I joined stumble upon you can find a lot of interesting sites on there also, but mybloglog is the best. I am always glad to hear from you my friend, sometimes this fall we are going to Florida, I might get your advice on some reasonable hotels in the area when you get time.
