Due to a Supreme Court ruling on abortion, a woman has few options even if it is medically necessary, she will have to prove it in court. We knew this was on the way and only a matter of time because we saw how the court was stacked to the extreme right, ruling; "is the proper manner to protect the woman's health if it can be shown that in discrete and well-defined instances a condition has or is likely to occur in which the procedure prohibited by the act must be used."
The way I am reading this is that the woman would have to prove in court that it is medically necessary to abort, at any rate the government sticking its nose in women's business is enough for me. As I have said time and again that should be between a woman her family and if necessary her doctor, all that is happening here is the courts infringing on the rights of women to decide what is the best for them and their body.

    hey, Floyd--
    here's the scenario:
    1] woman gets pregnant
2] during the course of her pregnancy it becomes clear that carrying the pregnancy to term will kill her
3] the woman takes her case to court
4] the case drags on and on
5] the baby is born and the woman dies
    6] problem solved

Hello two crows nice of you to drop by and leave your in-put, and it is a very good scenario you proposed, it would indeed solve the problem.

I am really not for 'abortion' persay
but any time I think of this issue it makes me think more, and I myself can not judge to what a woman's situation may be or under what circumstances she may be thinking about getting an abortion.
