Mexico itself treats it's immigrants very differantly than does the United States, although migrants in the U.S are allowed to have demonstrations, those in Mexico generally suffer in silence. The migrants in Mexico make up only 0.5% while the U.S migrants are at 12%. Shootings in Tultitlan are common,when police were conducting a raid for undocumented migrants near a rail yard outside Mexico City, a local man was shot to death, his dark skin and work clothes lead officiers to believe he was a migrant. Others in this interview had stated that they had seen migrants beaten to death and left near the railway tracks to make it look as though they had fallen from the train. Migrants are subjected to searches by police and forced to strip, the woman being interviewed said it was to abuse them,click on this link for the whole story.
