When we go out fishing in my boat on Spruce Creek, we occasionally get a flyover by a bald eagle. Never does this happen without my heart stopping for a second.

Anyway, I'm glad they've made a good ecological recovery.

I am glad to Jim,I just wish I could see one around here. Just today I went up behind my house because I have a creek that runs by my house and the recent rain had done some damage,I found a giant Beech laying across it and the leaves and twigs had it stopped up. They are doing some logging about 30 acres above me,but they are clogging up my creek, anyway I did see a hawk he was sitting on the branch of the beech,it is supposed to get 60 some odd degrees tomorrow and I will try to hire someone to help me get this tree out. You know these days you can not get anyone to help you even for the money, anyway I would have liked to see an eagle here, the old hawk he watched me till I got within maybe 20 yards then he took off. Even these days if the loggers block streams or cause erosion above you,you can not get the EPA to do anything I do not know why they even have that waste of money agency?

  1. Jim says:

Jon Stewart said that the Bush government is planning to drop the EP and just call it A for agency, because it has nothing to do with Environment or Protection.

coldflame I have called the regional office which for us is located in Chat.Tn. I have e-mailed them about the problem and have also called them about it,and I have got nowhere at all ,all the EPA is is a puppet for the Feds. So this actually happened to me personally, after my contact with them about the mining company, clogging up this stream not to mention polluting it I was directed to the Coast Gaurd? Yeah it seemed that this is stupid, but this actually occured I have taken photos and may be able to hold the company liable for any damage to my property, but you know how that goes the court these days is like a kangaroo court. I would say they maybe have no funds as much money as King Bush has wasted I am surprised the damn country is still afloat.
